I have been an orthopedic surgeon for a quarter of a century. Time flies, but my philosophy has remained the same. My simple mantra is PLAY:HEAL:PLAY. I believe in getting people back in the game be it sports, work or just being without pain!
As an ex-jock with knee problems I understand what it means to be hurt and what it takes to recover. I will care for you with your sore shoulder, your daughter with her torn ACL and your grandmother with an arthritic knee!
I perform state of the art surgical reconstructions: arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs and shoulder reconstructions, cartilage transplants, meniscus repairs, total shoulder (including Reverse TSR) and total knee replacement.
I am the only orthopedist on the Eastside performing the patient specific ConforMIS total knee replacement. I also treat patients with sports, work and MVA injuries.
Married, three children, two Bernese mountain dogs and a three legged cat. I enjoy family, working out, golf and travel. And the occasional red wine and cigar. I founded ShoulderWorks, a specialty interest group for all shoulder problems, with like-minded PTs. I have published more than 20 articles in peer reviewed literature.
