My graduate clinical experience included primary care and family practice, pediatrics, urgent care and rural emergency medicine. I had clinical rotations at EvergreenHealth, the University of Washington Emergency Department, and Northeast Montana Health Services.
Philosophy
My philosophy of care is to be an advocate for optimal health while encouraging patient involvement and collaboration with all members of the patient's care team and family. While providing exceptional care, I am dedicated to serving my patients and advocating for social justice and community health and wellness.
Personal Information
I grew up in Northern California and received a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked for five years in the wine and hospitality industry where I was the general manager of an import and distribution company. I left my previous career for my passion for health, wellness, and helping others. Outside of work I like to be active and enjoy spending time with my wife. I enjoy running, cycling, swimming, hiking and yoga. I appreciate most sports and also have a passion for music and art.
In the Community
I am currently the President of the Puget Sound Nurse Practitioner Association (PNPA). PNSPA is a non-profit professional organization that supports nurse practitioners in the Puget Sound area of Washington. Additionally, I am a volunteer nurse at the Rotacare Free Clinic in Lake City-Seattle, Washington.
