Dr. Steven Rittenberg has been caring for patients for more than 20 years. He specializes in internal medicine with extensive experience in the area of family health care treating both simple and complex health issues.
My goal is to create an environment of two-way communication, in which my patients and I work side-by-side to understand the state of their health, weigh our care plan options, and make decisions together that will yield the best possible outcomes to meet their goals and fit their lifestyle. By working as a team, we will strive to achieve life-long good health and personal satisfaction.
My family has been long established members of the Eastside community. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, numismatics, history, martial arts and trivia.
In the Community
I love volunteering at my child's school, helping with sports and science projects. I also give health care presentations at the Kiwanis Club and to Native American tribes.

Reviewed on June 20, 2018 I was disappointed when my previous provider left at another EvergreenHealth location and I feel lucky that I was able to find Dr. Rittenberg. He is extremely efficient and pleasant. I know it can be extremely hard to stay on schedule each day. His medical assistant has called me back immediately and afterwards he promptly walked through the door during both of my visits. Unfortunately, it is extremely rare to see a provider at your appointment time. He has been extremely nice during the my visits and I already feel comfortable with my new provider. You are lucky to have him. The front desk, MA and my new provider have been sweet as pie and I look forward to office visits. Thank you.
Reviewed on June 1, 2018 I had consecutive 2 year experience your billing problem with false claims. I visited urgent care once last year and once this year. On both time, your office claimed that I visited specialist which required higher co-pay than the urgent care visit. I was continuously harassed by your billing office sending me the invoices, even I replied by writing and made calls to tell them that were wrong claims. Please have some manager in charge call me to eliminate the problem.
