I've been an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) since 2013, and was an RN for more than 11 years before that. I worked in many different services during that time, including cardiothoracic intensive care, critical electrophysiology, eye surgery, day surgery and emergency surgery. My diverse experience has helped me to have a positive effect on patient care through effective clinical problem solving and cultural competence.
Philosophy
I believe my job is to be an advocate for patients. It is my responsibility to ensure they are receiving the best care possible and be their voice when they can't be.
Personal Information
I'm originally from the Ohio and spent most of my career at the Cleveland Clinic. As a result of my work as a travel nursing, I ended up falling love with the beauty of the Pacific Northwest - which planted me in the Seattle area. The diverse geography creates countless opportunities for adventure within driving distance, which I absolutely love.
After caring for my ill grandmother, I realized what a compromising position your health can put you in. This guided me into healthcare so I could be a patient advocate at those times when the compromising situation can consume a patient, as I can help be their voice and watchful eye to make sure they are receiving the best care possible.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and dog. I also enjoy traveling and cooking.

Reviewed on October 2, 2020 I really liked her. I've had a hard time going to look for a pcp because the last one I went to wasn't friendly or seemed to care about anything I said. she did a great job of listening to everything and making me feel comfortable and figure out what's going on.

Reviewed on February 20, 2020 I ended up being treated for a condition that I didn't request a visit for. She seemed quite certain that this double anabiotic treatment would solve my problem so we will see!
Reviewed on October 6, 2020 Friendly but RUSHED. No introduction when she first came in the room. Immediately started talking about my feminine health without understanding my decision-making process.
Reviewed on July 2, 2020 I felt like I was treated like a kid... She said here is what we were going to do and scheduled an x-ray after the x-ray. She went on lunch forgetting about me and the staff had no idea what to do next so they just sent me home.
