Roxanne Horwath has extensive experience in the field of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. After earning her athletic training degree, she worked as an athletic trainer in a variety of college sports. She was also part of the medical team that provided coverage to Summer, Winter and international X Games athletes. Wanting to move into the field of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, Roxanne completed her physician assistant training and residency and moved to Seattle, where she treats a variety of trauma, sports medicine and general orthopedics patients.
I take great pleasure in listening to and speaking with patients to understand how I can help them to achieve their individual goals. My goal as an Ortho PA is to provide compassionate care to all my patients. I believe this is best achieved through honest communication, patient-provider collaboration, and patient education. My knowledge, and background provide a unique perspective and aide me in playing a supportive role in providing quality orthopedic and sports medicine care to improve my patients' quality of life.
I grew up in New Mexico where I led an active lifestyle. I played a variety of sports growing up and had my share of injuries, both of which helped to develop an interest in sports medicine and orthopedics. Outside of work, I can be found walking, running, hiking or paddle boarding with my pup. I also enjoy weight training and CrossFit when time allows. I love to explore the great foods Seattle has to offer and I have a weakness for ice cream!
