Experience
Dr. Reinhardt has been practicing comprehensive ophthalmology since finishing surgical residency from the University of Washington in 2005. She offers a full range of medical and surgical eye care to patients of all ages. Her main surgical interest includes cataract surgery, but she enjoys all types of eye exams, from routine to complex.
Philosophy
My goal is to make patients feel at ease about their eye condition through education and open communication. By the time a patient leaves my office, my goal is to make sure they are fully informed. I find profound satisfaction in taking care of my patients over many years and developing trusting relationships. It is an honor and a privilege to do what I do.
Personal Information
I love being an ophthalmologist. This profession allows me to restore sight for patients. But when I am not at work, then I enjoy traveling, visiting with my large extended family, and being a mom to a wonderful son.
In the Community
I am very active in state and national ophthalmology organizations and I have served in leadership positions. I have been a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) since 2001. For the AAO I currently serve as the Regional Representative for the AAO State Affairs Committee (2014-present). This position has allowed me to fight for patient safety and other professional issues in the legislative arena, where I have had the honor to testify in front state and federal legislatures as an expert.
