I'm an eight-year veteran of the United States Navy, having worked as an emergency medicine and labor and delivery registered nurse in many locations, including overseas and on deployment.
Being a midwife allows me to blend the art of caring with the science of medicine and apply it to the whole woman and family. My goal is to empower women with knowledge and an understanding of their options, and then support their informed decisions about their care. I'm excited to help carry on family traditions and be a part of patient's creation of new traditions and families.

Provider did not seem to see me as an individual or ask about my concerns. She gave me lectures on health topics I am aware of.

Midwife completely panicked. Called in an OBGYN and said me and baby were in danger but wouldn't tell me what was wrong. I still don't know what was wrong.
