Michele Jackson joined EvergreenHealth Midwifery Care in 2012 after eight years as a midwife with the Center for Women's Health at Evergreen and another ten years as a labor and delivery nurse.
I strive to develop a caring and personal relationship with mothers and their families. My goal is to create an environment in which women are educated and encouraged to make their own health care decisions in a safe and supportive environment. I feel that labor and birth should be a positive and enlightening experience for both the parents and the entire family.
I love being able to support women in all stages of life, and midwifery gives me the opportunity to enjoy a relationship with my clients. In my spare time (ha!) I enjoy raising my family (4 kids) on an 18 acre farm, quilting, reading, hiking and playing softball!
In the Community
Our farm is a neighborhood co-op. I also volunteer at my children's school, and am currently training to walk 60 miles in 3 days to help find a cure for breast cancer.
