Anticoagulation, medication management, pharmacotherapy, critical care
Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS)
I began my career as a pharmacist at Walgreens. Wanting a more clinical role, I completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at St Francis Hospital in Harford, CT. My residency rotations exposed me to a wide range of inpatient and outpatient settings and I discovered a great interest in general medicine and critical care. After completing residency, I practiced as an inpatient general medicine pharmacist and then as a critical care pharmacist (cardiac, medical and surgical). I relocated to Seattle in 2014 and made the transition into an ambulatory care role by joining the EvergreenHealth Anticoagulation Clinic (now Pharmacist Provider Services).
I mostly grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and then ventured out to the northeastern part of the country for college and residency. Although I enjoyed my time out there, the Northwest is home for me and I'm happy to be back here. I enjoy travelling, cooking, reading and enjoying the many perks of living in the Pacific NW including the many outdoor activities and culinary adventures.
