I've been feeling very discouraged about how often I get UTI's and came into my appointment wanting to ask some questions and voice some concerns. I understand that it's important that I get tested/diagnosed in order to treat the right bacteria. My UTI's develop rapidly and I am quickly debilitated. So it's difficult to understand what the solution is for being in such discomfort while awaiting testing and treatment. The nurse gave me some suggestions of medications that can help with the discomfort before I come in for the test but wasn't super specific about what kind (she recommended Avo but when I went to the store, I wasn't sure which one to get since there are so many). I also asked her about another treatment I have been researching (Uqora) but she seemed to kind of brush off the question and said 'just do Avo.' That's totally fine and Avo has seemed to help with some of my funny symptoms so I'm really glad she told me about it! She just seemed a little impatient with my questions.

The entire session appeared to me very conclusive. She concluded it was physiology, take this, do that and when I probed to hear me out, she suggested therapy. It was already an embarrassing issue for me and top of that, the discussion went completely one way.
