My overall goal is to maximize your pain reduction and functional improvement through thorough evaluation and use of all available treatment methods.
I enjoy medicine because as it's a great combo of dealing with science/technology as well as the human condition and being able to improve someone's life is immeasurable.
I'm a Northwest native, and returned to Washington state after attending college in southern California. I took a year off between college and medical school to teach math and science on St. Vincent and the Grenadine in the West Indies.
My wife and I live in Redmond with our three children, and all of our extended family are here in the greater Seattle area. We enjoy the area's combination of outdoors plus arts, music, culture scene and being around our family. In our free time, we enjoy anything outside - on the water or in the mountains (road/mountain biking, snowboarding/skiing/xc skiing, stand-up paddle boarding, running, hiking, multi-sport).

Reviewed on August 20, 2020 A very comfortable time even though the news of my condition was upsetting.
Reviewed on May 28, 2020 Dr. Burns & his entire team were so caring, kind, thoughtful. They all explained the procedure, put me at ease, felt like they really cared about me. I had had a terrible experience a few weeks before at a different clinic where I will never return. What a world of difference w/ Dr. Burns & his clinic. I would recommend him & would return to him if needed. Thank you to all of their staff.
