Credentials
Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
Experience
I previously worked in an academic hospital and was heavily involved in the education of students and young surgeons. I have also worked to expand vascular services to patients to provide comprehensive care for complex vascular disease. I continue to be involved in surgical education through the teaching of review courses to surgeons who are attempting to become board certified.
Philosophy
I treat patients like people, not a collection of test results and procedures. I believe that modern technology should be utilized to give patients as many options for treatment as possible, and I advocate for minimally invasive therapies when appropriate. I encourage patients to participate and be active in their own care.
Personal Information
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places. I enjoy cooking and trying new cuisines. I also like learning new skills and activities. In recent years, I have learned to do pottery on a wheel, taken up horseback riding, paddleboarding and boxing.

Reviewed on December 24, 2020 Excellent.
Reviewed on November 3, 2020 We love Dr. Coulter. She is knowledgeable, relatable and never speaks "down" to patients.
Reviewed on September 3, 2020 Dr. Amy Coulter is professional and knowledgeable in her medical specialty. She was good in educating me about my situation.
Reviewed on November 12, 2020 Dr. Coulter is listed, but unavailable for 2 appointments. I don't know the root cause, next steps in care except for appointments. Unclear if stockings are mandated, when to discontinue inconsistent care message from HEMO consult. Results not followed, communicated.
Reviewed on November 9, 2020 She did not listen. She was in a hurry.
Reviewed on October 26, 2020 Doctor came in with presumed information, didn't even let me ask questions and jumped to next steps saying I had to wait. She didn't even look at legs, sent home with no paperwork, and wrong medical information. I saw another doctor at a different clinic and will not go back to yours. Horrible.
