My clinic experience includes providing preventative care for all ages, prenatal care, acute and chronic medical condition management. During my residency, I managed patients at every level in the hospital including ICU, post-surgical, pediatrics, newborns, OB and general medical floor. I have also cared for patients in skilled nursing facilities and urgent care.
I want to know who you are, what you love, and what makes you unique. Through careful listening, humor, and evidence-based practices I work together with the patient to offer comprehensive and compassionate care. I enjoy working with the diversity of patient's backgrounds and work to incorporate their lifestyle and support system into their health care.
I grew up in a small town in east Texas. After Hurricane Katrina, I had the opportunity to help the only local doctor as he worked to identify and aid his patients in the community. I was amazed how he knew his patients, what medical conditions they had, and who would need help first. I knew I wanted to be able to do the same. I have been dedicated to becoming a physician who would know my patients, care for their entire family, and be a part of a community. I am married to my high-school sweetheart and we have two rowdy boys. We enjoy going outdoors, hiking, and sailing. I enjoy yoga and reading. We are excited to move into a community and to get to know our neighbors.
