Dr. Ellsworth has been involved in primary care education, practice and research for nearly 40 years. The bulk of this time was spent as a clinical pharmacist and professor with the University of Washington's Pharmacy and Family Medicine Programs.
I enjoy caring for patients and families over time to build a relationship that fosters the candid collaboration, patient education, and mutual respect helpful to maintaining and improving patient health.
In addition to clinical practice at EvergreenHealth Primary Care, Sultan, he is a Professor of Pharmacy and Family Medicine at the University of Washington, active in teaching primary care therapeutics to Pharmacy and physician assistant students. He is currently serving as Bishop of the Sultan Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In his spare time, he is likely to be found bragging about his 11 grandkids with his wife, Kathy, or attached to one end of a climbing rope out in the Cascade Mountains.
