I tried to fill a RX the Dr. prescribed and my insurance, (for which I pay a high premium) charged me more than I thought appropriate. I talked to pre-certification people at the insurance company and they said they needed to talk to the doctor. I contacted the clinic through your portal, and mentioned a diagnosis which fits my condition that I thought would allow the insurance company to reduce the cost. I don't know what the doctor gave as information, but my appeal was denied. I am having to shop to other pharmacies to find it at a reasonable price. It's now been 2 weeks since the prescription was made, and I still don't have it. I learned that if I paid cash at a different pharmacy it would cost half as much as it would if I went through my insurance. I think my complain is with my insurance company but I'm curious about how what diagnosis was reported to justify the Rx.
