Dr. Van Appledorn is fellowship trained in both robotic urological surgery and oncology, and is recognized as an expert in robotic urological surgery.

Urogynecology & Pelvic Medicine | Mia Swartz, MD, MS, FPMRS
Dr. Swartz is board certified in Urology, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and is recognized as an expert in the non-invasive treatment of elimination disorders.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, the participant will be able to:

  • Discuss the controversies surrounding PSA and prostate cancer screening.
  • Describe current issues and future trends of prostate cancer diagnostics and management in 2019.
  • Evaluate real-life case studies and identify appropriate treatment and referrals
  • Describe current capabilities in treating and managing pelvic health.
