On behalf of all of us at EvergreenHealth who are committed to ensuring your clinical care and outcomes are the best they can possibly be, thank you for taking the time to visit this page. You will be hard pressed nowadays to find a health care system that doesn’t claim it is ‘committed to quality’. And, it’s a genuine claim – organizations around the country are united to ensure that you and your family get the highest level of quality during hospitalization or a clinical visit.
But what does ‘quality’ in health care mean and how can you measure the quality of your care? How might knowing the quality of your provider influence your decisions?
As you research health care quality, a number of indicators can be compared. Fortunately, in recent years our industry has moved much further towards complete transparency – and there are a wealth of resources now available to help you make informed decisions about your care.
We are pleased to provide you with information to help explain quality standards in specific clinical areas. If you cannot find the information you seek, I welcome you to contact us at email@example.com.
While there is much data available to highlight a health care organization’s quality efforts and outcomes, no single source can definitively measure overall quality. Consulting a number of sources related specifically to your area of interest will serve as a helpful measure of where and from whom to get the highest quality care for your medical needs. By researching health care quality, you can make informed choices about where to receive treatment and also better understand the risks involved with some procedures.
At EvergreenHealth, we comply with all local, state and federal laws and regulations, including regular survey and inspection by organizations including the State Department of Health, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization, American College of Surgeons and many others.
We also participate in voluntary public reporting systems such as the Hospital Compare and The Leapfrog Group, among others. We support transparency and believe that the residents of our community benefit when able to directly compare health care systems on quality measurements.
We commit ourselves to continuous quality improvement. Our multidisciplinary improvement teams, comprised of doctors, nurses, hospital leadership and other health care professionals, are dedicated to enhancing quality in many areas; examples include communication, medication management, heart failure, heart attack, pneumonia and stroke.
