Learn about breast/chest feeding your baby as recommended by all of the world's health organizations. Topics include the benefits of breastfeeding, anatomy, feeding cues, establishing a good latch, feeding positions, ways for partners to be supportive, how to pump, pump options, human milk storage, building a supply for going back to work, tips and tricks for success, breastfeeding/pumping supplies and resources.
Class instructor is a trained lactation educator.
We recommend that all first-time parents take this in-depth class to augment the breastfeeding information they will get in their Childbirth Preparation course and the Day About Baby class.
This class held in-person. Register one person only and feel free to bring support person at no additional cost. Fee $60 (plus tax) for 2 persons.
