This childbirth preparation course is designed for expectant parents with limited time to take a standard birth preparation class. This class gives an overview of everything from Anatomy and Physiology and signs and stages of labor to pain medications and interventions, the miracle hour immediately following birth, early breastfeeding, caring for your newborn and postpartum care for postpartum parent and baby. This class meets in-person for a total of 6 hours 6:30pm - 9:00pm on the same day of the week for 3 weeknights. Includes an interactive tour of the Family Maternity Center.
Register one person only and feel free to bring support person at no additional cost. Fee $200 (plus tax) for 2 persons.
