This in-person class provides support and education for moms who are continuing to breastfeed beyond the first six months. Included is best practice information as suggested by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the World Health Organization. There's lively discussion about the cumulative health benefits of continued breastfeeding for both mom and baby, cultural pressures, developmental challenges, weaning and more. The class is facilitated by a Certified Lactation Educator. $50 per family.
