Philosophy
I believe in working side-by-side with patients to help them meet their personal health goals. Coming to the doctor can often be an intimidating experience, therefore my goal is to make patients feel comfortable and at ease while I strive to compassionately and competently answer their questions. If I don't know the answer, we will find it together or I will refer them to someone else who can help. I look forward to working with you to help you achieve your healthiest and best self.
Personal Information
What I enjoy most about family medicine is the opportunity to get to know the families I care for over long periods of time. My interest in medicine was sparked at an early age by my mother, who is a nurse at a nearby local hospital. This exposure to the medical field coupled with my desire to engage in science while compassionately caring for people, led me to family medicine, which is the perfect fit for me.
Outside of medicine, my wife and I stay quite busy and entertained by our three young boys. I am also an avid sports fan and participant. When I am not cheering on the Huskies and Seahawks, you can find me hiking, golfing, playing basketball or out on a jog. With any extra time, I love to paint and cook.

Reviewed on January 9, 2020 Doctor Collier has been there for me in ways I'll forever be grateful for. His holistic approach to my wellness stems from what I believe is his amazing ability to listen. In the two plus years I've seen him, I've stopped taking painkillers for my back, have had him being the point man on helping me recover from post concussion syndrome and allowed me to emotionally lean on him when my grandmother passed. I'm absolutely convinced he cares and is invested in my health and well being. I feel comfortable to be completely honest around him whereas with other doctors it's like you're playing a game. Thanks to him and his great care and inspiration I feel as strong as I did in my early twenties and my mental health is outstanding after years of depression, self loathing and constant pain. The man is a rockstar to me. He has a great sense of office decorum and always spends a generous amount of time. Not once have I left uncertain of anything that happened during my visit(save when I had the concussion issues. I could hardly remember my name part of the time there.).

Reviewed on October 28, 2019 I have every confidence in Dr. Collier. Great guy!
Reviewed on October 11, 2019 Dr. Collier is amazing and he is so timely with responding back to my questions and concerns thru the patient portal and about my lab results. Even though I have a lot going on in terms of health, I know I am in great hands because he asks so many questions to understand what I'm going through, creates a plan of the next steps, orders tests and gives results back as soon as he can. it was amazing to get lab results from the ultrasound the same day instead of waiting 2 days. he's also taking care in coordinating with my nephrologist at UWMC to make sure he's on the same page and can help with my healthcare plan to be the best it can be. he's awesome.
Reviewed on March 8, 2021 i have been in a lot of pain and still need medical management for this. I had to take something sedating in order to get to the visit. I was trying to copy records but it was too painful. Because of this I went to my first visit without all my medical records, somewhat sedated, but still in pain. There's no way with 10+ years of severe obstructive sleep apnea that I was going to get a full H and P in in the first visit. Having a longer intake visit for a patient like me would be smart. I'm an MD and I could train Dr. Collier to be a much better patient interviewers. He's obviously new at this.
Reviewed on January 5, 2021 Would be nice if he was more up on low testosterone and could treat that himself.
