Personal Information
When not working, I enjoy technical SCUBA diving in the Puget Sound and Lake Washington, alpine climbing (especially on Mount Rainier), woodworking, wheel-thrown pottery, reading history, and just about any outdoor activity. My wife, three kids and I enjoy camping regularly. I love helping expose them to the natural world, develop new skills, and helping them develop a passion for the outdoors and confidence in their ability to try things.

Dr. Hakkarainen is one of the best physicians I've ever met. He has been with me every step of the way throughout my cancer treatment. Not only is he an expert surgeon, but he is also kind and compassionate.
