Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
I previously worked in an academic hospital and was heavily involved in the education of students and young surgeons. I have also worked to expand vascular services to patients to provide comprehensive care for complex vascular disease. I continue to be involved in surgical education through the teaching of review courses to surgeons who are attempting to become board certified.
I treat patients like people, not a collection of test results and procedures. I believe that modern technology should be utilized to give patients as many options for treatment as possible, and I advocate for minimally invasive therapies when appropriate. I encourage patients to participate and be active in their own care.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and exploring new places. I enjoy cooking and trying new cuisines. I also like learning new skills and activities. In recent years, I have learned to do pottery on a wheel, taken up horseback riding, paddleboarding and boxing.

Reviewed on February 22, 2019 Every experience here at Evergreen is great. I feel fortunate to have these wonderful people care for me!
Reviewed on February 26, 2019 I came for a second opinion about a superficial thrombophlebitis found last fall. Sorry to say, this provider never physically assessed the site. I left feeling I was wasting her time! Although she may have felt it was nothing substantial and unworthy to be concerned about, I left without true confidence in her.
