Redmond, Wash. – EvergreenHealth Primary Care recently welcomed Poornima Krishnaiah, MD, to the team of family medicine providers at its Redmond practice.
As a board-certified family physician, Dr. Krishnaiah is trained in both family medicine and women’s health, including menopause and contraception management. She cares for patients of all ages, focusing on preventive care and management of chronic conditions. Before beginning her medical career in the United States eight years ago, Dr. Krishnaiah practiced in India and Ireland for 20 years.

Dr. Krishnaiah takes a holistic approach to medicine by providing compassionate and comprehensive care, working together with her patients and their families in order to help them achieve their healthiest best. Having trained and practiced in three different countries, Dr. Krishnaiah has been able to cultivate relationships with people of all cultural backgrounds, which has shaped her approach to care.
Dr. Krishnaiah is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, and also by the North American Menopause Society as a certified menopause practitioner.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, volunteering at her daughter’s school and making beaded jewelry. Dr. Krishnaiah enjoys living in the Pacific Northwest and appreciates the chance to explore its abundant natural beauty.
