LaPlante has served EvergreenHealth Monroe for the past 10 years, holding several leadership positions in quality and operations, and most recently as interim CAO. Previously, she served as chief operating officer for EvergreenHealth Monroe, where she led service line enhancement and development while supporting overall hospital operations.

“Throughout Lisa’s tenure with EvergreenHealth Monroe, and specifically since taking on the role of interim CAO, she has demonstrated exceptional competence and an impressive capacity to lead our organization – fundamental attributes for this position,” said Alice Cabe, Board Chair, Snohomish County Public Hospital District #1. “We value her strategic insights, operational excellence, exceptional skills and deep knowledge of the needs of the organization and those we serve. Lisa’s leadership will advance our strategic focus and help provide opportunities to evolve in our growing community – where EvergreenHealth Monroe is a trusted partner, providing families with exceptional care and service in the comfort of their own community.”

Before joining EvergreenHealth Monroe, LaPlante served as chief quality officer and compliance officer for Southwest Memorial Hospital in Cortez, Colorado, for eight years. There, she gained expertise in quality, safety, utilization review, risk management and plant operations.

Prior to that, she was a manager for a hospital-based home health agency in Moab, Utah, where she spent eight years expanding the service to include four additional branches, hospice care and a certified diabetes education program. While in Utah, LaPlante also managed an urgent care clinic and obtained licensure as a durable medical equipment provider.

LaPlante holds a Bachelor of Science in health care services and a master’s in health care administration from the University of Phoenix. She lives in Monroe and is an engaged member of the community, serving on the Snohomish County YMCA board, as well as the Snohomish County Leadership Council for the American Cancer Society.
