Kirkland, Wash. –The EvergreenHealth Foundation invites community members for a behind-the-scenes look at the Kirkland medical center’s daily operations to witness firsthand EvergreenHealth’s award-winning care and services.
The Foundation recently launched complimentary tours of the Kirkland campus, which are designed to showcase the health system’s state-of-the-art resources, many of which are generously donated by patients and families, used to care for the surrounding community.
Tours of EvergreenHealth Medical Center will be open to the public beginning on February 4th, 2019.
Each tour will guide visitors through the rich history of the hospital and demonstrate how it continues to grow and adapt its service lines while planning for future expansion to meet the needs of the growing community.
Attendees will also learn how philanthropic gifts, donations and community support fortify EvergreenHealth’s mission to advance the health of the community it serves by providing high-quality, safe, compassionate and cost-effective health care.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to share with our friends and neighbors the resources we offer to enrich the health and well-being of those we serve, in a refreshing, non-clinical setting,” said Kae Peterson, CFRE, Vice President, EvergreenHealth and EvergreenHealth Monroe Foundations. “By touring our facilities, we hope to provide an inside view of what we do and how the community’s ongoing support helps us fulfill our vision of creating an inclusive community health system that is the most trusted source for health care solutions.”
