Kirkland, Wash. – EvergreenHealth Hospice Care recently welcomed Dr. Sarah Wittry to its team of specialists who work together to provide compassionate care and comfort to patients and their loved ones.
Dr. Wittry brings clinical expertise in hospice and palliative medicine, cancer rehabilitation, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and complex pain and symptom management. She specializes in partnering with patients and families to create individualized care plans that focus on patients’ personal values and goals, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes that meet the patient’s needs and wishes.

As a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physician, Dr. Wittry provides personalized and compassionate care that enables patients and their families to achieve the highest quality of life after diagnosis. She focuses on managing each patient’s complex physical symptoms while paying attention to their emotional, social and spiritual needs, as well.
Dr. Wittry earned her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at the University of Washington, where she remained for a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her three kids, husband and golden retriever. She also maintains an active lifestyle by running, hiking, doing yoga, reading, cooking and swimming.
