Before pursuing a career in cardiology, Dr. Sharifian served as a firefighter and EMT in Snohomish County. According to Dr. Sharifian, working in these roles helped him discover his passion for serving others and led him to study cardiology, a field in which he felt he could have a profound impact on the lives in his community. Dr. Sharifian treats each patient as if they were a member of his own family and works to ensure that patients understand all aspects of their treatment plans before moving forward.

The physician is trilingual in English, French and Farsi, and is board certified in a range of specialties within heart care, including cardiovascular disease, echocardiology, cardiovascular CT, nuclear cardiology and internal medicine.

Dr. Sharifian attended Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran, Iran, before completing his residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk. He went on to complete his fellowship at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago.

EvergreenHealth Heart and Vascular Care provides patients with access to a full range of treatment options for cardiac and vascular conditions.
