LifeNet Health Recognizes EvergreenHealth with Circle of Life Tissue Donation Award

Kirkland, Wash. – EvergreenHealth was recently honored by LifeNet Health, a leading provider of organ donation and tissue banking services, with the Circle of Life Tissue Donation Award, recognizing the health system’s outstanding record of tissue donation and transplants.

Over the past year, EvergreenHealth and LifeNet Health have partnered to help patients achieve the best outcomes by facilitating 125 tissue grafts supplied by LifeNet Health for transplantation, and 27 tissue-graft donations to LifeNet Health from EvergreenHealth donors.

The grafts from EvergreenHealth donors, which represent an increase of more than 40 percent compared to 2016, support LifeNet Health in its mission to save lives, restore health and give hope.

“In addition to improving the lives of our patients, tissue donation enables donors to give back to their local communities in the most meaningful way,” said Bob Malte, CEO of EvergreenHealth. “As our region expands, we recognize that the need for health care services continues to grow, and we are honored to have been recognized for meeting these critical needs while supporting LifeNet Health’s mission-driven work, as well.”
