The annual readers’ choice awards recognize EvergreenHealth for the fifth time in six years

Kirkland, Wash. – EvergreenHealth is honored to be recognized by 425 magazine as the Eastside’s “Best Hospital & Health System” for the second year in a row. The award recognizes the health system for the fifth time in six years for delivering top-of-the-line care to families throughout King and Snohomish Counties.

Each year 425, the Eastside’s premier lifestyle publication, asks readers to vote for their most preferred local organizations, from restaurants and art galleries, to mortgage lenders and health care providers. Readers voted for EvergreenHealth as the region’s top hospital and health system in the publication’s Best of 425 poll, which is published online and in the May 2018 print issue.

“Receiving the Best of 425 award is especially meaningful when bestowed by those we serve: our patients, their families and the Eastside greater community,” said Bob Malte, EvergreenHealth CEO. “As we continue expanding our services across the Puget Sound region, we are proud that our commitment to our patients remains at the center of all we do. We know our community has more choices than ever when it comes to health care, and it’s our privilege to serve as your partner in health.”

EvergreenHealth earned the top spot in 425’s 2017 awards, and was also recognized as the “Best Hospital” in 2013, 2014 and 2015. This year’s winners will come together to celebrate their achievements on May 16 at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery in Woodinville.

EvergreenHealth serves the community from its network including a 318-bed acute care medical center in Kirkland and 72-bed sister hospital in Monroe, 12 primary care practices, five urgent care centers, more than two dozen specialty care practices and 24/7 emergency care at its Kirkland, Monroe and Redmond campuses.

To meet the needs of the ever-expanding Eastside community, EvergreenHealth has committed to a 10-year, five-phase Master Facilities Plan to enhance the existing infrastructure and patient service capabilities of the health system. Learn more about the plan at www.evergreenhealth.com/future.
