Board member since 1980
A life-long resident of the Northshore area, Commissioner DeYoung has been involved in community affairs since elected to the Northshore School District board of directors in 1968. He is active in many community organizations, including the Northshore Kiwanis, Woodinville Chamber of Commerce, the Woodinville Downtown Property Owners Association and the Northshore Planning Committee.
Commissioner DeYoung chairs the Board Planning and Construction Committee and serves on the Levy Funded Services Committee.

A resident of the Kirkland area for more than 30 years, Rebecca Hirt worked part-time at EvergreenHealth Medical Center as a medical technologist before joining the Board. She earned her MBA in 1990, and is active in community parks and land use issues, and with the local chapter of the American Association of University Women.
Commissioner Hirt serves on the Board Quality and Safety Committee, the Levy Funded Services Committee and the Community Advisor Planning and Recruitment Committee.

Tim McLaughlin is a retired financial executive of nearly 40 years within multiple industries for both non-profit and for-profit organizations, serving most recently as Chief Financial Officer of SightLife, a global health organization with a mission to eliminate corneal blindness. He has served for four years on the Board at the Greater Redmond Chamber of Commerce, as an EvergreenHealth Community Advisor for nine years and volunteers for the Wake Forest Alumni Admissions program. He resides in Redmond and holds a BS, an MBA and a certificate in Financial Planning from Seattle University.
Commissioner McLaughlin chairs the Board Digital Health and Consumer Innovation Advisory Committee and serves on the Board Audit & Finance Committee, Compensation and Retirement Plan and Deferred Compensation Committee, Board Bylaws and Delegation Policy Review Committee and the EvergreenHealth Foundation board.

Chuck Pilcher retired in 2010 after 36 years of service in the Emergency Department at EvergreenHealth. Dr. Pilcher served as medical director of both the ED and Evergreen Medic One, as President of the EvergreenHealth Medical Staff and as a board member of the EvergreenHealth Foundation. He was also a co-founder and first Medical Director of the Evergreen Hospitalist program. Dr. Pilcher serves as a volunteer in a variety of community activities and ministries.

Jeanette Greenfield served 14-years in EvergreenHealth's Community Advisors program before being appointed to fill a Board vacancy. Commissioner Greenfield earned her MBA in 1987. Her professional background includes working in the banking industry; her history includes 30 years of non-profit management and over eight years in banking and finance. Greenfield has served on many local boards and committees, including the King County Children & Family Commission, Eastside Human Services Forum, and King County United Way. She is also a graduate of The Leadership Institute (now known as Leadership Eastside).

Minerva Butler served as an EvergreenHealth Community Advisor for six years, prior to being appointed to the Board in 2016 and elected for a six-year term in 2017. She is a retired securities analyst and mutual fund manager and a former Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and former Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). A resident of Redmond, she has served as board president and trustee of the Lake Washington Schools Foundation and on the PTA of Norman Rockwell Elementary. She holds a BS, MBA and governance certificates and training.
Commissioner Butler chairs the Board Audit and Finance Committee and the Compensation and Retirement Plan and Deferred Compensation Committee. She also serves on the Board Bylaws and Delegation Policy Review Committee.

Virgil Snyder is an engineer who has worked for the Boeing Company since 1984. His appointment to the Board in 2016 was preceded by 18 years of service as an EvergreenHealth Community Advisor. He has been involved in various volunteer positions within the Bothell community, Boeing Global Engagement and FIRST Washington robotics program. He holds a BS, MBA and a configuration management certificate and is a graduate of the Advance Bellevue Community Leadership Program (now known as Leadership Eastside).
