Since 2005, Kirk Hanson has helped shape and expand some of EvergreenHealth's most essential services. Prior to assuming the role of Chief Operating Officer of EvergreenHealth Medical Group (EHMG), Kirk played a key role in driving innovation and growth across service lines, including rehabilitation, surgical services and the Neuroscience, Spine and Orthopedic Institute.

Known for his collaborative style and strategic focus, Kirk has built strong partnerships across clinical and operational teams. His leadership is grounded in both hands-on experience and formal training, including an MBA from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business. Kirk started his career in health care as a physical therapist. With clinical roots, Kirk's journey to executive leadership has been marked by a blend of clinical insight, strategic acumen and a deep commitment to those we serve.
