Chris Bredeson oversees all facets of health care services and operations, the EvergreenHealth Medical Group and strategic planning for the EvergreenHealth system.

A Pacific Northwest native, Bredeson has dedicated his entire career to health care, serving in leadership positions since 1994. Before joining EvergreenHealth in December 2019, he was president and COO of MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup. Prior to that, he was an administrator for the MultiCare Regional Cancer Center & Oncology service line.

Bredeson earned his bachelor's degree in Speech Communication from the University of Washington, and his MBA from City University of Seattle. He has been active in both Rotary and the Chamber of Commerce, is a board member of the Equestrians Institute and serves on the Together Center Finance & Operations Committee. Bredeson was also invited to sit on the boards of both the Washington Hospital Services and Washington Health Alliance, both statewide organizations focused on quality and value in care delivery. OneRedmond, an organization focused on developing the economic vitality of Redmond and East King County, elected Bredeson to its board in early 2025.
