Virgil Snyder is a retired engineer/manager of 36 years from the Boeing Company. His appointment to the Board in 2016 and subsequent election for a six-year term in 2017 and 2023 was preceded by 18 years of service as an EvergreenHealth Community Advisor. Virgil was Board Secretary in 2021-2022 and has been Board Chair since 2023.  He has volunteered locally and across the Puget Sound area, Washington State trail maintenance, the Boeing Global Engagement program and FIRST Washington Robotics program. Virgil resides in Bothell and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering, an MBA, a CM2 Configuration Management certificate, maintains a Washington State Hospital Association (WSHA) Health Care Governance Certification and is a graduate of the Advance Bellevue Community Leadership Program (now known as Leadership Eastside).
